i am an artist based in ormond beach, florida.i love to use color,texture,and brush strokes to create my vision,and hopefully evoke an emotional reaction from the viewer.
My Journey
house painter to monreve gallery owner/artist
thirty + years ago, i was a house painter. Then i became an industrial painter working with many types of paint & coatings,and that made me realize howflexible paint, and the many uses it can offer.i began to create small works of art to give to family and friends, monreve!.
my canvas
i specialize in oil & acrylic textured and brush stroke paintings
i use plaster of paris to create a texture.i like this technique because it is a very unique way of showcasing my work in a different perspective.as for my brushed stroke paintings,i have always been attracted to this medium looking at the history of art,and again it is a very unique way of showing perspective of life.
commissions & vendors
i have worked on a variety of commissioned based art, such as creating a 450 sq ft wall mural for ormond by the sea florida legendary restaurant betty's a1a cafe, The 2018 Halifax Humane Society Furball in daytona beach, florida, and as for vending i was in the 2017 Art in the Park festival in Ormond Beach, Florida. All Events and Festivals humbled me to the core, and was such an Honor,i will never forget.
